PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject derivative capable of assuming a liquid state even at low temperatures and widely setting the hardness of the resultant polyurea resin by carrying out a transesterification of a specific random copolymer polyol with an alkyl p-aminobenzoate. SOLUTION: The transesterification of a random copolymer polyol with an alkyl p-aminobenzoate (e.g. methyl, ethyl or n-butyl ester of p-aminobenzoic acid) in an amount of 1-2 equivalents based on the random copolymer polyol is carried out to thereby provide the objective derivative represented by the formula [X is an average value and 0.1-1; A is a bivalent random copolymer residue having 500-5,000 molecular weight and composed of a constituent component 1 represented by CH2CH(R1)CH(R2)CH2O (either one of R1 and R2 is H and the other is methyl) and a constituent component 2 represented by CH2CH2 CH2CH2O in 5-40 wt.% ratio of the constituent component 1 based on the sum total of both the constituent components 1 and 2] and having hydroxy group and terminal amino group.
