PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily match a plurality of images that are projected and displayed by a plurality of projection-type display devices, by storing an adjusting pattern data for adjusting a position of the images to be projected and displayed, selecting data to be processed from the adjusting pattern data, and adjusting positions of adjusting pattern images, in a display image data creating portion. SOLUTION: This projection system stores adjusting pattern data ADP for representing adjusting pattern images in each of projection-type display devices PJA-PJC. A user selects which adjusting pattern image is used in a menu screen for each of projection-type display devices PJA-PJC using a remote control or an external computer 300. Here, same adjusting pattern image is selected for each of projection-type display devices PJA-PJC, and a position of a projection lens using a position adjusting mechanism, can be adjusted while looking at the adjusting pattern images displayed on a screen SC.
