PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive material carrying mechanism which prevents a photosensitive material (paper) from being injured or jamming when feeding or rewinding the photosensitive material stored in a photosensitive material storage magazine. SOLUTION: The mechanism is provided with first and second rollers 10 and 9, which are provided on the side of magazines 5 and 6 and hold the base face and the emulsion face of paper P between themselves to carry the paper P, and an advance roller 11 on the device side. When paper P is fed out, the first roller 10 on the base face side is made function as a driving roller, and the feed speed of the advance roller 11 is made slightly higher than that of the first roller 10. When paper P is rewound, the second roller 10 on the emulation face side is made function as a driving roller, and the rewinding speed of the second roller 9 is made slightly higher than that of the advance roller 11.
