PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filing tool, with which documents can be kept under a good state and which enables easy insertion and retrieve of the documents. SOLUTION: A sheet file 5 is formed by putting one transparent or translucent plastic sheet upon the other so as to pinch papers P therebetween. Two sides (c) and (d) normal to each other are open as an opening part 12, through which the papers P are inserted and retrieved. In the one side (c) comprising the opening part 12, binding holes 6, each of which is open outside through a strictured part 16 made at some part thereof are formed. By engaging the binding holes 6 with the part of a binder, a large number of the sheet files 5 can be bound into a file book under the state being freely taken out and putting in the file book.
