PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stroboscopic device capable of appropriately keeping the duty of an exciting pulse without necessitating the detection and the feedback of primary voltage and secondary voltage. SOLUTION: This camera equipped with the separately oscillating type stroboscopic device is equipped with a storage means 180 storing the duty or the correction value of the exciting pulse supplied to the stroboscopic device, and a supply means 1 measuring time taken from starting the charging of a stroboscope, setting the duty individually suitable for the camera by referring to the duty or the correction value of the exciting pulse stored in the storage means and supplying the duty of the exciting pulse of the stroboscopic device in accordance with the time taken from starting the charging measured by a time measuring means based on the setting of the duty.
