PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide gold tone which solves the problem that a display plate giving the gold tone by gold coating is expensive, the gold coating is performed down to the rear face side and a material cost is useless. SOLUTION: A silver plating operation is executed to a display-plate base body 11 to which an Ni plating operation is executed. A silver film 12 is formed. A transparent receptive layer 13 is formed on the surface of the silver film 12. An ink in which three kinds of yellow, red and blue sublimable dyes (the yellow dye: about 90% or more; the red dye: about 5% or less; the blue dye: about 5% or less) are mixed is printed on a sheet of paper. A sheet of transfer paper is manufactured. The sheet of transfer paper is piled up on the receptive layer 13, it is warmed and pressurized (at about 18 deg.C and under about 4 kg/cm2) so as to be transferred, and a gold hue which is tuned to a desired hue is revealed. Alternatively, a yellow sublimable dye, a red sublimable dye and a blue sublimable dye are prepared, and the sheet of transfer paper is immersed sequentially for a prescribed time so as to be colored. By using the sublimable dyes, a gold hue which is equivalent to a gold plated hue can be revealed at low costs.
