PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having excellent low heat generation property and good breaking characteristics, abrasion resistance and processability. SOLUTION: The objective rubber composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a modified conjugated diene polymer produced by reacting an aminohydrocarbyloxysilane compound having a specific structure to a polymerization active terminal of a conjugated diene polymer, (B) 10-85 pts.wt. of silica and (C) a polysulfide silane coupling agent expressed by the formula, (R5O)3Si- A2-Sm-A3-Si(R6O)3 (R5 and R6 are each a 1-3C alkyl; A2 and A3 are each a 1-9C alkylene; and the average of (m) is 2-3) in an amount of 1-20 wt.% based on the component B.
