<p>N-unsubstituted indoles and cyclopentyl[b]indoles as DNA reductive alkylating agents are described. The indoles display selectivity for melanoma and non small cell lung, colon, renal and prostate cancers. The selectivity is believed to relate to differential substrate specificity for DT-diaphorase.</p> |
