PURPOSE: An air conditioner outdoor unit is provided to improve evaporating efficiency of a heat exchanger, to simplify structure of the outdoor unit, and to increase productivity by reducing parts and working process. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit in an air conditioner is composed of a power generating unit; a suction unit(50) having a housing(59), sucking air to an outdoor unit and discharging; a barrier(60) fixed in a base panel(20) of the outdoor unit; and a suction grille part(31) guiding air from the outdoor unit to a heat exchanger(70). The housing has a fan combined with the power generating unit, an intake port generating suction force by rotating the fan and a discharge port(57). The suction unit is installed in the upper part of the barrier, and the heat exchanger is mounted in the lower part of the suction unit. The evaporating efficiency is increased with sucking and discharging air for heat exchange, and the outdoor unit is assembled and disassembled conveniently by reducing parts and working process. |
