Disclosed is a sensor for measuring the physical variables of a first object (2), particularly the rotational velocity and position of said first object (2), by means of a combination of plates (3) comprising magnetised nanowires and detectors (4) of the magnetic field generated by said magnetised nanowires. Specifically, disclosed are two embodiments wherein, to measure the rotational velocity of the first object (2), the detection of the magnetic field generated by the nanowires is digitalised and, to measure the position, the analogue signal of the magnetic field detected is used to calculate the distance between the first object (2) and the detector (4).
