PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression packing device with a hardly damageable locking mechanism capable of easily locking a discharge door in a closed condition even when the discharge door is not closed completely. SOLUTION: In a package compressing device 1, a connecting board 10, in which lock claws 13, 13, etc., are journalled freely rotationally, is attached vertically so as to be moved upward/downward circularly in the end edge on the opened side of the discharge door 2 by journalling the tips of the respective lock claws 13, 13, etc., to the open side end edge of the discharge door 2. A plurality of hook rollers 9, 9, etc., are fixed in the end edge of a compression tank 6. When the connecting board 10 is circularly moved upward/downward and the respective lock claws 13, 13, etc., and the respective hook roller 9, 9, etc., are engaged mutually, the discharge door 2 is held in a closed condition to the compression tank 6, and the discharge door 2 is opened halfway when the engaged condition is released.
