PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam holding stand capable of simply and easily holding and fixing a beam member to a predetermined attitude and also of carrying out the work safely. SOLUTION: This is a stand 4 for holding a beam member horizontally when attaching a required member to a beam member 1 comprising an H-steel, and comprises a horizontal underframe 8, a, leg body 9 for fixing the horizontal underframe 8, and a pair of holders 10 and 10 for holding a lower flange 1a of a beam member 1 placed on a horizontal underframe 8, and each holder 10 comprises a vertical lever 11 supported in a movable manner up and down and rotatable manner between each holder 10 and the horizontal underframe 8 on the underframe 8 and a linking arm 12 linked to a lower flange 1a of the beam member 1, and a restricting means 26 is interposed, which restricts the holding of the beam member 1 by the holder 10 at an outward position horizontally reversed around, from the frame hold position holding the lower flange 1a of the beam member 1.
