PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment capable of performing G3 communication in duplex by ISDN. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment shown in Figure 1 is provided with G3 facsimile equipment 1 to perform facsimile communication in a G3 system, a G3 extension unit to be constructed so as to be connected to the G3 facsimile equipment 1 and having a G3 communication function and a G4 extension unit 3 to be constructed so as to be connected to the G3 facsimile equipment 1 and having a G4 communication function and performs the G3 communication in duplex by the ISDN via the G4 extension unit 3 by using the G3 facsimile equipment 1 and the G3 extension unit 2.
