PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor capable of preventing dusting, easy to clean and inexpensive. SOLUTION: A bottom plate 25 is arranged in place of a conventional return roller 13. Thereafter, an artificial lawn 31 is arranged on the bottom plate 25, and it is devised to make a belt 1 slide on it. The artificial lawn 31 is formed to be in an inverted U letter shape as its central part is projected highest by accumulating old belts 29 in stages.
