The device has a transformer for generating a high-frequency electromagnetic field and a probe electrically coupled with the transformer. A control unit is provided for controlling the high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by the transformer. An intermediate space between a primary coil and a secondary coil is increased in an overlapping area of the coils from a distance to another larger distance in the direction of a clutch (7) for the probe.
