PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic measuring device capable of performing accurate background magnetic field compensation by preventing the influence of a background magnetic field input to a compensation sensor from being applied.SOLUTION: All combinations (i, j) of two magnetic sensors are created. As a pair of a compensated sensor (i) and a compensation sensor (j), a difference magnetic signal (C(t)=FD(t)-FD(t)) is calculated for all combinations of magnetic sensors. For the difference magnetic signal C(t), a peak width value C(t)is calculated, which is a fluctuation width between maximum and minimum values during a predetermined period &Dgr;t immediately before time t. A background magnetic field R(t) at the time t is created on the basis of a DC removing magnetic signal (FD(t) or FD(t)) at a magnetic sensor set selected on the basis of the peak width value C(t). For the DC removing magnetic signal (FD(t) of each magnetic sensor, background magnetic field compensation (U(t)=FD(t)-R(t) is performed. |
