PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image dignity by performing processing which a creator desires after photographing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element for imaging object light which is image-formed by a photographic optical system; defocus amount distribution creation means which creates defocus amount distribution by using a photographed image acquired by the imaging element; recording means for recording the photographed image; and image processing means which performs image processing on the photographed image. The defocus amount creation means creates the defocus amount distribution by using a defocus amount distribution creation image acquired by an F number different from that on timing when the photographed image is acquired. The recording means records the defocus amount distribution in association with the photographed image. The image processing means performs the image processing on the photographed image by using the defocus amount distribution.
