DEVICE OF FILLING FUSED GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of filling a fused glass which is capable of preventing generation of remaining glass due to liquid sagging when glass filling is stopped and is also capable of shortening filling time remarkably. SOLUTION: A flow-down nozzle 3 of a glass melting furnace 1 is connected with a receiver (c) through a supplying pipe 21 which is bent halfway to form a standing part 22 extending upward and the standing part 22 is connected with a compressed air introduction pipe 23 for sending compressed air to its downstream side. Accordingly, a fused glass in the filling pipe 21 is quickly blown away and removed, so that generation of a remaining glass due to liquid sagging is surely prevented and the time required for filling the fused glass into the receiver (c) is remarkably shortened due to an increase in filling amount of the fused glass.
