PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic-pressure bearing capable of avoiding increase of the cost of machining and assembling, using a simple structure, while preventing leakage of a lubricant. SOLUTION: In this dynamic-pressure bearing, radial dynamic-pressure bearing sections 15, 16 are formed at two points in the direction of the axis between a sleeve 1 and a shaft 2, and ring-shaped recessed annular steal sections 25, 26 are formed at the sleeve 1 and the shaft 2 in the direction of the diameter, between the two radial dynamic-pressure bearing sections 15, 16. Cubic capacities Q1, Q2 of the steal sections 25, 26 are set to be not more than 16 times a cubic capacity Q3 of a gap between the two radial dynamic-pressure bearing sections 15, 16, and not less than 4 times thereof. Thereby, it is confirmed by experiment that the leakage of lubricant can be minimized.
