PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a flexible wiring board so as to prevent the occurrence of disconnections due to bending of contacting sections. SOLUTION: This flexible wiring board has first and second conductive contacting sections 11 and 12, arranged on one surface of a base plate 1. The first contacting sections 11 have first tapered-off sections 11a on the first narrow-width section side 11b of a first wiring pattern 4, and the second contacting sections 12 have second tapered-off sections 12a their front ends. The first and second tapered-off sections 11a and 12a are arranged close to each other in third and fourth directions B and B' and contain a uniaxial imaginary line X drawn in first and second directions A and A'.
