<p>A capping assembly for carbonated drinks holding cylinders (20) is attached to the neck (21) of a cylinder via a locking on fitment. The cap (10) is complete with a projecting outlet-extension and an in built sectional locking unit. An intake and off take passage is found next to the locking unit, in the cap (10). The off-take-lime runs at least in pt. into the extended outlet. The passages are connected via a transversal line. The locking pt. is situated in-between the intake and off take passages. Primary locating profiles (30) placed at the cap's (10) lower edge (11) which points towards the cylinder (20) in the vicinity of the connecting element (13) are linked to the cap (10) directly, or indirectly via the connecting element (13). Secondary locating profiles (24) working in conjunction with primary profiles (30) are found at the neck (21) of the cylinder (20) and form part of the cylinder (20). The totality of the primary (30) and secondary (24) locating profiled moves freely in the direction of locking the capping assembly (1) while it is self locking when the assembly is moved in the direction of being opened.</p> |
