PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating frame-body, in which a work can be facilitated in fitting a cover material to a front frame material constituting a heat insulating member of frame material of a refrigerator, etc., to prevent the cover material from getting damaged, and heat-transfer quantity is controlled from the rear face of the material to the front board of the front frame material. SOLUTION: The heat insulating frame includes the front frame material 12, a rear frame material 13, a joint 14, a heat insulating material 15, and a cover material 16. A pair of side boards 12b, 12b are protruded from both edges of the front board 12a to the rear. A pair of side boards 13b, 13b are protruded from both edges of the rear board 13a. The joint 14 joins the side boards 12b, 13b respectively of the frame materials 12, 13. The heat insulating material 15 is filled in the space surrounded with the frame materials 12, 13. The cover material 16 covers the rear board 13a of the frame material 13 and both side-boards 12b, 12b of the frame 12. A plurality of joint seats 18 recessed in the outside and protruded in the inside are provided scatteringly. The seat 18 and the side board 13a of the frame material 13 are connected by sinking a head 14a of the joint 14 in an outside recess 18a of the seat 18.
