PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor reducing pressure losses just after starting suction in plural cylinders and providing high compression efficiency. SOLUTION: Plural rollers 16a, 16b eccentrically mounted on a rotation shaft 6 are eccentrically rotated respectively inside cylinders 11A, 11B and inner parts of the cylinders are partitioned by blades 17a, 17b. Gas sucked into each cylinder from suction ports 18a, 18b is compressed for discharging it from discharging ports 20a, 20b. This compressor comprises a middle partition plate 10 interposed between the cylinders for partitioning the inner part of each cylinder, and a piercing hole 25 formed near the suction ports of the middle partition plate for introducing gas from the inner part of the other cylinder at starting suction stroke in the cylinders.
