PURPOSE: A humidifying method and apparatus is provided to obtain distilled water and produce silver solution from the distilled water, while achieving improved bactericidal effect and preventing infection of bacterial virus. CONSTITUTION: A humidifying apparatus comprises a distilled water generating unit(30) for generating distilled water by heating a water; a silver solution generating unit for producing a silver solution from the distilled water; a humidifier unit for atomizing the silver solution by using the ultrasonic wave generated by the vibration of a vibrator; and a controller(22). The distilled water generating unit includes a water reservoir(4), a heat exchange and water vapor cooler, a cooler plate, a cooler fan, a heater, a water level sensor, a water supply hose(11), a water vapor discharge hose(13) and a heater(8). The silver solution generating unit includes silver rods, and a circuit section having a micro computer for supplying power to the silver rods. The humidifier unit includes a filter for filtering the silver solution generated by the silver solution generating unit, an ultrasonic vibrator for atomizing the silver solution, and blower fans for discharging the atomized silver solution to outside. |
