PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device, and a device and a method for driving the same are provided to reduce the standby time until a normal screen is displayed in a monitor or a television using a liquid crystal display by realizing the high speed bend orientation transition of liquid crystal in the initial driving of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a switching part(500) for primarily switching any one output from a gate voltage for scanning signals, a data voltage for image signals, a driving voltage for a backlight, and secondarily switching either one output of a bias voltage or a common electrode voltage, and a timing control part(100) for outputting a first switching signal controlling the primary switching and a second switching signal controlling the secondary switching to the switching part according to power-on, thereby improving the bend orientation transition speed of the liquid crystal disposed on an LCD panel(600) faster.
