CIRCULAR ARC PROCESSING METHOD FOR PLOTTING AND EDITING FUNCTION IN PICTURE INPUTTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably convert a polyline and polygon into a circular arc with a simple operation without performing any repeated operations. SOLUTION: A start point P1 and an end point P2 for performing circular arc processing are designated with an input device in a step S1. Then, a polyline is converted into a circular arc which is the most approximate with a polyline before conversion by using a central processing unit in a step S2. Thereafter the edge point of the converted circular arc is connected to the edge point of the adjacent polyline in a step S3.
