PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic record regenerating device capable of solving problems such as a size, cost, and creeping and also selecting inexpensive resin material in small size, and further having a gear catching mechanism with easy assembling control in a reduction gear mechanism using a worm gear applied to the magnetic record regenerating device. SOLUTION: Setting a worm gear catcher 14 receiving thrust-directional force of the worm gear 13 inserted into a loading motor 11 so as to be bent to both of thrust and radial directions, the length of the worm gear catcher 14 is lengthened, and miniaturization, an optionality to select materials to be used, cost, durability, and a creep-proofing property of the worm gear catcher 14 are improved respectively. Further, as an absolute amount of bending is increased, the magnetic record regenerating device having the gear catching mechanism easily controlling an assembly is obtained.
