摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer medium in an imaging device which can suppress unevenness in electrical resistance in a surface of a surface layer and further can reduce nonconformity of an image due to transfer unevenness or filming by suppressing slipping-off of a solid additive, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A intermediate transfer belt 15 in the imaging device, such as a color printer, is constituted of a polyester film layer as a base body, a vapor-deposited layer of aluminum as an electrically conductive layer formed on a polyester film layer surface and the surface layer formed on a vapor- deposited layer surface. The surface layer can be obtained by applying an emulsion coating material, to which tin oxide doped with antimony is added as an electronically conductive solid additive on the base body and then drying. In this case, polyurethane as a base resin in the emulsion coating material is blended with tin oxide in advance, and tin oxide is bonded directly within the polyurethane.
