PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor detecting an object such as a vehicle on a road at a low cost in real time. SOLUTION: The image processing method detecting the object from a photographed image including the object is provided with the step of emphasizing the variable densities of the photographed image by the shift and overlap processing of morphology, the step of segmenting an area where a specified object is present from the emphasized photographed image and the step of performing a predetermined processing for the object in the segmented area.
