The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating infertility or subfertility, the composition comprising, as an effective ingredient, a sialylated Tn sugar-chain antigen or an activating agent for the antigen. In addition, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for contraception, the composition comprising an inhibitor for a sialylated Tn sugar-chain antigen or an expression or activation inhibitor for an enzyme synthesizing the antigen. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a marker composition for measuring pregnancy possibility or pregnancy efficiency, the composition comprising a sialylated Tn sugar-chain antigen. In addition, the present invention relates to a screening method of an infertility or subfertility treating agent or a contraceptive agent using a sialylated Tn sugar-chain. |
