PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharge device of a sheet printer capable of stacking printed sheets while aligning the downwardly curling front edges of the sheets. SOLUTION: A sheet guide 7 which opens a clamping pawl 4 of a chain delivery 1 to receive and guide the sheets S as the sheets S drop in a gliding fashion is provided with a corrective guide 9. The front edges of the sheets S are caused to abut the corrective guide 9 to warp the front edges upwards, and the sheets S are stacked on a paper stacking tray 5 as the front edges are uncurled.
