PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain acrylic resin particles excellent in handling and flexibility at normal temperature. SOLUTION: The acrylic resin particles having a multilayer structure consisting of an inner layer mainly comprising an acrylic acid ester copolymer having <=0 deg.C glass transition temperature and an outer layer mainly comprising a methacrylic acid ester copolymer having >=60 deg.C glass transition temperature are produced by polymerizing the methacrylic acid ester-containing monomer to obtain the resin having >=60 deg.C glass transition temperature to be the outer layer, subsequently dissolving the resin in the acrylic acid ester-containing monomer to be the inner layer to obtain a solution which is polymerized in suspension.
