PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a canister compact by reducing the introduced quantity of gasoline vapor to the canister by enhancing an absorption factor wherein the gasoline vapor in a fuel tank is brought into contact with liquid gasoline to be absorbed. SOLUTION: This device comprises a separation means 8 introducing liquid gasoline W1 in a fuel tank 1 to separate into a low boiling point component and a high boiling-point component, and a gas-liquid contacting means 15 for bringing extracted gasoline W2 consisting a high boiling-point component separated by the separation means 8 to contact with the gasoline vapor W3 in a fuel tank 1. By the contact of the extracted gasoline W2 and the gasoline vapor W3, a part of the gasoline vapor W3 is absorbed by the extract gasoline W2, and the gasoline vapor W3 which is not absorbed by the extract gasoline W2 is introduced to a canister 21.
