The invention relates to a packaging container (1) comprising a substantially pillow shaped closed main body (2) being provided with a stand surface (4). In order to form a pattern of fold lines, the inner sides of two opposing portions of the sidewall of the main body (2) are, along an edge portion (4) of the main body (2), fixed to each other along fixed fold lines, about which fixed fold lines the edge portions located outside the fixed fold lines (6a-e) are refolded to form flaps forming the bottom surface (4). The invention also relates to methods of producing a packaging container of this type and a sealing jaw adapted for use in said methods. |
