PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a noise insulation cover without impairing the function of shutting off noise radiated from a cylinder block. SOLUTION: A noise insulator 2 made from resin is formed over the inner surface of a cover body 1 which covers the surface of the cylinder block. The noise insulator 2 is molded to extend to the upper surface of an end of the cover body 1 to form a seal part 4 to cover the entire area of the inner surface of the cover body 1 with the noise insulator 2 without joints, thereby enhancing noise insulating properties and eliminating the need to manually attach a seal.
