PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an access speed to a magnetic disk and an impact resistance during operation. SOLUTION: The magnetic head suspension 10 has a flexure 12 loaded with a head slider 11 and a load beam 13 for supporting the flexure 12. The flexure 12 is formed of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). Further, the load beam 13 may be formed of the CFRP. As an another embodiment, the flexure 12 and the load beam 13 may be integrally formed of the CFRP. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
