PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prism for a piano handle type switch capable of realizing bright light emission display. SOLUTION: This prism 50 is arranged on a rear surface side of a piano handle by letting an outgoing face 51 oppose to a light emission display part of the piano handle. Side protruding prism parts 57, 57 are provided on both up and down sides from a rear side of the outgoing face 51 of the prism 50. Incoming faces 53, 52 allowing light from a light penetration window of a push button switch to enter are formed in accordance with three mounting positions for a mounting frame of the push button switch, respectively, on a rear side of each side protruding prism part 57 and on a rear side of the outgoing face 51. Reflection faces 58a, 58b for introducing light from the incoming face 53 of each side protruding prism part 57 onto the outgoing face are formed therein. Projecting curved faces are formed on the incoming face 53 of each side protruding prism part 57 and on the incoming face 52 on the rear side of the outgoing face 51 so that light from the light penetration window of the push button switch becomes substantially parallel light therein.
