PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems such that a low tank has to be formed in such a shape as to be widened upward in terms of constitution of a mold because a conventional tank for flushing the toilet bowl is molded by injection molding, and such that unevenness in thickness is caused or a protrusion such as a valve seat, which is formed near a drain port 2a, cannot be integrally molded, though the tank can be molded in a free shape when the tank is sometimes molded by blow molding. SOLUTION: An upper half part 21 and a lower half part 22, which are independently manufactured, are integrally constituted by welding, screwing and the like, so that the degree of freedom of a low tank shape can be made higher and so that the arrangement of other functional components around the low tank and the like can be easily performed. Additionally, when a part 22b for being mounted on the toilet bowl is formed on a side peripheral surface of the half part 22 or the half part 22 is formed so as to be integral with a plate 1 for placing the toilet bowl, a load of flushing water, with which an inside is filled, is prevented from acting in the direction of separating both the half parts 21 and 22 from a joint between them, and there is no fear that leakage from the low tank may be caused.
