PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnet generator which can prevent the deformation of the flange of a protective ring even when the ring is reduced in thickness and which can prevent the generating efficiency from decreasing. SOLUTION: The magnet generator comprises: a bowl-shaped flywheel 1; a plurality of magnets 2 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the flywheel 1; a rotary axis direction positioning protective ring 3 of the magnet 2 formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, arranged to be brought into close contact with the inside of the plurality of the magnets 2 and having a locking part 3a provided at the peripheral edge of the opening of the bottom 1b side of the flywheel 1, an intermittent flange 3b formed intermittently at the peripheral edge of the opening at the opposite side to the locking part 3a and the radial direction of the magnet 2 disposed on the inner peripheral surface so that the magnet 2 is interposed between the locking part 3a and the flange 3b to decide the rotary axis direction position of the magnet 2; a resin 4 filled in the periphery of each magnet 2 between the flywheel 1 and the ring 3 and having the magnet 2 fixed integrally with the flywheel 1; and a generating coil installed oppositely to the magnet 2 in the flywheel 1 to generate by an electromagnetic induction with the magnet 2.
