PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterstop board capable of making higher waterproofing property in the vicinity of fitting portion and the portion to be fitted of longitudinally laid roofing member. SOLUTION: A waterstop board is arranged between a fitting portion having an almost reversed U-shape cross section formed at one side end portion of a roof member main body and a portion to be fitted formed at an end portion at the other side of the roof member main body, and a waterstop board which has a portion to be fitted formed at the end portion at the other side of the roof member main body, and it is laid as a roof backing for longitudinally laid roofing members arranged between the fitting portion of the longitudinally laid adjacent roofing member and roof backing. A packing 7 formed to an almost U-shape facing to the eaves side from ridge side is attached on the upper surface of the main body 6 of the waterstop board. By tightly adhering the packing 7 to the bottom surface of the main body of the roof member, the ingress of rain water from eaves to any gap between the longitudinally laid roofing member and the roof backing can be reduced considerably at the fitting portion between the fitting part and the portion to be fitted. The periphery of the fitting portion between fitting part and the portion to be fitted bulges, and rain water flowing on the main roof bodies is hardly brought close to the periphery.
