PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission ratio variable steering device capable of preventing the damage of a motor housing, making it difficult to generate abnormal sound and as a result, reducing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: In the transmission ratio variable steering device 1 varying the transmission ratio between steering angle and steered angle, a motor 4 has the motor housing 10, a stator 12 and a rotor 14, and a wave gear mechanism 5 has a wave generator 17, a flex spline 19, a stay circular spline 20 and a drive circular spline 21.
