PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curing composition excellent in light fastness while having excellent properties such as hardness of coating/scratch resistance/adhesivity/transparency or the like as a material for protective coating forming which covers a resin molded article comprising a cyclic olefin resin, and to provide the molded article of the cyclic olefin comprising the composition as the protective coating. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curing composition comprises a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator expressed by general formula (I). In the formula (I), R are each independently H or a 1-20C alkyl group free from a tertiary hydrogen atom, X is a 2-20C aliphatic polyhydric alcohol excluding an ether bonding and a tertiary hydrogen atom or a 2-20C aliphatic polyesterpolyol excluding an ether bonding and a tertiary hydrogen atom and m is an integer of≥2.
