PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for totalizing the brittleness of computer viruses for each virus and reporting the results. SOLUTION: The computer virus brittleness indicating method acquires the virus infection information from any terminal unit, totalizes the infection information for each virus after elapse of a certain period, and sends an E-mail as a warning to the mail address doubted as having spread the computer virus. Also the E-mail as warning is sent to the mail address doubted as infected with the virus and the user in whose address book the mail address having spread the virus infection is registered.
