PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with excellent operability. SOLUTION: The digital camera 2 is provided with a mode selection dial 9 for switching a photographing mode and a reproducing mode and a pair of push buttons 14a and 14b are provided on the mode selection dial 9. The push buttons 14a and 14b are rotated together with the mode selection dial, arranged in a vertical direction in the photographing mode and arranged in a horizontal direction in the reproducing mode.
