PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which forms dot images of high fineness, prevents the occurrence of image unevenness and periodic image defects and provides good sharpness by an image forming system using multicolor toner superposition method and an image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises superposing and forming a plurality of toner images on a photoreceptor and transferring the multiple toner images to recording paper at a time by a transferring step, in which the photoreceptor is an organic photoreceptor having a charge generating layer containing the adduct of titanyl phthalocyanine and diol having a hydroxyl group at each of two adjacent carbon atoms on a conductive substrate and a charge transporting layer on the charge generating layer and an electrostatic latent image is formed on the organic photoreceptor by exposing the photoreceptor with exposing light of≤2,000 m2in spot area.
