PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize personal authentication which uses a mobile phone, which is simple and easy, and which does not impose economical burden on the user. SOLUTION: A special number of an authentication center is called in a sending number display state and is cut off by one call from a mobile terminal. Because the authentication center can identify the sending number of the mobile terminal, as long as the sending number display for the call is done in spite of cutting the call off, the center collates a member-registered sending number which corresponds to the sending number by searching the database provided at the authentication center.
