<p>PURPOSE: A method for providing data relay service in occurrence of failure of a relay server in a communication network management system is provided to allow a user to successively use real time data relay service through a relay server of a different center by automatically setting an optimum bypass connection path. CONSTITUTION: A process reads DB connection environment information from a DB connection environment file of a server host unit(S302) and relay server environment information from a listen port environment file of a relay server(S304), and attempts connection to a database(S306). When connection to the database is successful(S308), it is checked whether the process is connected to a relay server of a current center(S310). If the process is not connected to the relay server of the current center, connection of the center to the relay server is attempted(S312). If connection of the center to the relay server is failed(S314), it is determined whether a bypass connection path to the center has been set(S322). If the bypass connection path to the center has been set, connection environment information on a relay server set as the bypass connection path is read and connection to the bypass relay server is attempted(S328,S330). If connection to the bypass relay server is successful(S332), a socket command is waited(S311).</p> |
