PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete filling method and a concrete filling mechanism for facilitating the post handling of construction work accompanying concrete pressure feeding such as concrete press-filling construction work into a concrete filling steel pipe column and contributing to the saving of resources and the conservation of the environment. SOLUTION: A removal assisting part S for assisting the removal of remaining concrete is provided in a concrete pressure feeding passage, and the removal assisting part S is put into a non-operation state to fill concrete. Next, the removal assisting part S is put in an operation state to suck and remove remaining concrete in the concrete pressure feeding passage.
