PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a proper detour route even in the case where an avoiding region is apart from a search spot, when searching for a detour route of the avoiding region where vehicle passage is avoided. SOLUTION: A map data reading processing part 3 acquires map information having a hierarchical structure corresponding to the range of a road map, and a remote controller 8 designates the avoiding region where vehicle passage is avoided corresponding to an input operation. A route search processing part 45 of a navigation function part 4 searches for the detour route of the avoiding region, when the avoiding region is included in the range of the hierarchical map information acquired by the map data reading processing part 3.
