PURPOSE: A waist protection belt is provided to hold up waist of a patient who has a pain on the lower back and to be able to use the belt regardless of manufacturing cost and place because of not using an electric driving motor. CONSTITUTION: The waist protection belt includes: a waist protection part having an upper plate of waist protection unit(40) and a lower plate of waist protection unit(50), which are formed to be expended up and down; and a support belt fixed in a waist, covering the waist protection part. The waist protection part has many links at the upper/lower plate of waist protection units(40,50), which are connected with control belts(20) connected with left/right side mid-driving bars(60,70) by connecting links(90) with the right-side mid-driving bar(70) on one side and links(90') with the left-side mid-driving bar(60) on the other side. Then, if the control belts(20) are pulled outward, the upper/lower plate of waist protection units(40,50) are expended up and down.
